In the evening hours of a Tuesday in West Baltimore, tragedy struck Anton Myron Gladden Jr., a 28-year-old man, whose life was cut short by gunfire. The fatal incident unfolded on April 25, 2023, in the 1900 block of Penrose Avenue. Reports from that evening indicate that the shooting occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m., a time when the day was winding down for many in the city.
