Khaled Heeba, a 31-year-old Syrian refugee, was tragically shot and killed on February 7, 2020, in Baltimore, Maryland. Heeba had fled the civil war in Syria, spending four years in Egypt before resettling in Baltimore in 2016. He was working as a pizza delivery driver to support his family, who had also escaped the war-torn region.
