In the early hours of a Wednesday in Baltimore, the calm was broken by the sound of gunfire and a subsequent car crash. On March 16, 2022, police responded to a report of a shooting shortly before 1 a.m. in the 2500 block of Cross County Boulevard. Arriving at the scene, officers found a vehicle that had crashed. Inside, they discovered 31-year-old Frank Lee Pulliam suffering from gunshot wounds.
A second person, a 30-year-old male passenger, was also in the vehicle and had sustained
injuries from the crash. Both men were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. Despite efforts to save him, Pulliam succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at Sinai Hospital. The passenger, however, survived the ordeal.
Frank Lee Pulliam was born on September 6, 1990. He was a father, a fiancé, a son, and a brother. Those who knew him remembered his love for racing cars and riding dirt bikes. He was described as someone with a good heart who was always willing to help his neighbors. His sudden and violent death left his family, including his son, mother, and fiancée, to mourn their profound loss.
The Baltimore Police Department opened a homicide investigation into Pulliam's death. As of yet, no arrests have been publicly announced, and no suspects have been named. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting. A reward of up to $8,000 has been offered for any information that could lead to an arrest in the case. Law enforcement continues to appeal to the public for assistance, urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
