On a summer day in Baltimore, Maryland, tragedy struck Antoine Webster, a 32-year-old man, whose life was cut short by gun violence on June 24, 2019. The fatal encounter occurred at a Metro station situated in the 3300 block of Coldspring Lane, a location that would become the focal point of a lengthy investigation.
The Baltimore Police Department launched a thorough inquiry into the shooting death of Webster.
Their efforts eventually led to the identification of two individuals believed to be responsible for his murder. The first breakthrough in the case came on November 5, 2019, with the arrest of 33-year-old Desmond Carter. Following this, on January 15, 2020, the second suspect, 23-year-old Daekwon Walker, was apprehended in Dundalk without incident.
Both Carter and Walker faced serious charges for their alleged involvement in Antoine Webster's death. The charges brought against them included first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, and firearm use in the commission of a crime. Walker faced an additional charge of having a handgun on his person. Following his arrest, Walker was transported to Central Booking to await a court commissioner.
