On June 11, 2023, Nicholas Morales, aged 65, was one of three individuals fatally shot during a mass shooting incident in Annapolis, Maryland. The shooting occurred around 8 PM in the 100 block of Paddington Place, reportedly triggered by a dispute over parking related to a birthday party taking place nearby. Alongside Morales, the victims included his son, 27-year-old Mario Antonio Mireles Ruiz, and 25-year-old Christian Marlon Segovia.
