Demetric Martin, a 37-year-old resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland, was fatally shot on July 22, 2023, in Capitol Heights. Upon discovery, he was found outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
