Devonte Dixon, a 26-year-old resident of Northeast D.C., was tragically found dead on May 14, 2019, in Capitol Heights, Maryland. His body was discovered inside a burning car on Akin Avenue. Upon extinguishing the flames, authorities found that Dixon had not only been severely burned but had also sustained gunshot wounds.
