On August 31, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Fort Washington, Maryland, resulting in the death of 52-year-old Rori Burch. The shooting took place at the family's home in the 1900 block of Tall Timber Court, where Rori Burch was fatally shot along with her 25-year-old son, Michael Burch Jr.
