Laila Ann Miller, a three-year-old girl from Fort Washington, Maryland, tragically lost her life on August 16, 2014. The incident began when her father, Frederick Roy Miller, 38, went to the home where Laila lived with her maternal grandparents. According to reports, Frederick Miller shot Laila's maternal grandfather and great-grandmother before abducting Laila and fleeing the scene. This led to a high-speed chase with the police, which ended in a shootout.
