Gabriela Melendez, a 22-year-old woman from Fort Washington, Maryland, tragically lost her life on May 28, 2021, due to an accidental shooting. The incident occurred inside a home on Old Fort Road, where Gabriela was with her boyfriend, Francisco Alvarado Revelo. According to the initial investigation by Prince George's County Police, Revelo was handling his gun inside the house when it accidentally discharged, striking Gabriela and causing her death at the scene.
