Tania Vanessa Lopez, a 36-year-old woman from Montgomery Village, Maryland, tragically lost her life in a double shooting incident on October 25, 2015, in Fort Washington, Maryland. The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the parking lot of the Fort Washington Marina, near the Proud Mary Restaurant. Witnesses reported hearing approximately 30 shots fired during the incident.
