On April 7, 2019, 18-year-old Saniyah Floyd was found fatally shot in a home located in the 13000 block of Buchanan Drive in Fort Washington, Maryland. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. and discovered Floyd suffering from a single gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
