On a late December afternoon, the quiet of a Bowie, Maryland neighborhood was broken by the sound of gunfire. On December 28, 2023, at approximately 3:05 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Saint Michaels Drive. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered 37-year-old Timothy Emmanuel Jones inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
