In a quiet neighborhood in Bowie, Maryland, the evening of June 24, 2024, was shattered by gunfire. Seventeen-year-old Re’Sheed Reid was walking along Lake Overlook Drive when a car reportedly pulled up beside him. Shots were fired from the vehicle, and the young man was left lying in the street.
