Davonte M. King, an 18-year-old resident of Bowie, Maryland, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2015. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 13000 block of 6th Street in Old Bowie. Upon arrival, they found King suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a backyard. He was immediately transported to Prince George’s County Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
