In the afternoon hours of January 30, 2024, the life of 36-year-old Davon Brown, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred at approximately 4:33 p.m. in the 4000 block of Wilsby Avenue, where police responded to a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Brown suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene and transported Davon Brown to a nearby hospital.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The Baltimore Police Department's homicide detectives have taken charge of the investigation into Brown's death.
