On March 26, 2024, at approximately 4:44 p.m., Baltimore police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Eugene Fitzgerald suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, Fitzgerald was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
