In the summer of 2024, the life of 24-year-old Kendall Montgomery, a Black male from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On the evening of June 26th, at approximately 9:36 p.m., police were called to the 3300 block of Dolfield Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Montgomery inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services transported him to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Kendall Montgomery succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The Baltimore Police Department's homicide detectives have taken charge of the ongoing investigation into his death.
To date, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects in connection with the shooting. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains active. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and contact the Homicide detectives or to provide anonymous tips through the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line.
