In the early hours of July 15, 2024, a burst of violence on a Baltimore street set in motion a tragedy that would end a young man's life. Ely Williams-Harr, a 27-year-old Black / African American male, was shot in the head on the 1500 block of North Potomac Street at approximately 1:03 a.m. Despite the grievous injury, Williams-Harr managed to drive himself to the 1500 block of East Oliver Street, where he was found by Baltimore Police Department officers.
