In the city of Baltimore, on September 20, 2021, Donnell W. Smith Jr., a 36-year-old man, was fatally wounded in a shooting. The incident occurred in the Eastern District of the city, where police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of North Decker Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
