On the morning of February 13, 2026, a 36-year-old Yemeni man, Khaled Saleh Mohamed Alshariki, was working as a clerk at the Broadway Mart in Baltimore, Maryland. A father of three young children, Alshariki was behind the counter when a man entered the store at approximately 9:27 a.m. Surveillance video from the store captured the harrowing moments that followed.
