Death by Force

On July 18, 2024, Rusty Mark Edwards, a 49-year-old resident of Williamsport, Maryland, was fatally shot in Hagerstown. The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at a residence where Edwards and another individual, Nathan Matthews, were present. While Edwards succumbed to his injuries at the scene, Matthews was transported to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of his wounds.
