On August 6, 2024, at approximately 3:29 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in Baltimore, Maryland, resulting in the death of 31-year-old Brian Batty. The shooting took place in the 1700 block of North Carey Street, where Western District officers responded to reports of gunfire.
