In the quiet of a Northeast Baltimore morning on December 9, 2021, the life of 34-year-old Jake Rogers, a dedicated employee of the city's Department of Public Works, was tragically cut short. As he was placing his three young children into his van to take them to school on Holder Avenue, a shocking act of violence unfolded.
