On September 22, 2024, at approximately 9:06 p.m., Western District officers in Baltimore received a ShotSpotter alert in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified female suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures performed by the officers, the victim was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital.
