Ala'junaye Davis, a 16-year-old honors student from Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on May 30, 2020. Davis was a ninth-grade student at the National Academy Foundation High School, known for her love of hip-hop music, dancing, and her bright, colorful clothing. Her teacher described her as "studious and naturally gifted," and she was well-liked and respected among her peers.
