In the early summer of 2020, the life of 16-year-old Alajunaye Davis was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence in West Baltimore. On the evening of Saturday, May 30th, Davis and her friends had made a trip to a local gas station. As they were heading back, an acquaintance offered them a ride. While they were in the car on the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue, a gunman opened fire on the vehicle.
