Tequia Monea “KeKe” Nails, a 32-year-old mother of four from Capitol Heights, Maryland, was tragically killed on September 24, 2024. The incident occurred in her home in Fairmount Heights, where she was shot while holding her two-month-old baby. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots followed by screams from her children, who witnessed the horrifying event. Tequia was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after police arrived around 11 p.m.
