In the late hours of a summer night in 2011, the life of a young woman from District Heights, Maryland, was tragically cut short. Twenty-year-old Jasmine Jerona Banks, a female, was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in the early morning of Monday, August 8, 2011, in Capitol Heights.
