Phajia Elise Hutchinson, a 23-year-old woman from Capitol Heights, Maryland, tragically lost her life on May 4, 2021, in a drive-by shooting at a BP gas station on Walker Mill Road. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. and was captured on surveillance cameras. Hutchinson was one of two victims in the shooting; the other was a teenage boy who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Hutchinson succumbed to her injuries.
