Michelle Boateng, aged 46, tragically lost her life on October 8, 2021, in Capitol Heights, Maryland. She was one of the victims in a double homicide that occurred at the Gateway Village National Church Residence, a senior living facility where she both worked and resided. The incident unfolded early in the morning when Roy Batson, a 63-year-old resident of the facility, confronted another employee, Mackeda Evans, over a prior dispute related to a violation notice.
