On a cold December night in Capitol Heights, Maryland, the life of 45-year-old Aiesha Nickens of Washington, D.C., was tragically cut short. On December 1, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the evening calm in the 4800 block of Marlboro Pike. When Prince George's County police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Aiesha in a parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was a female.
