On a tragic day in late spring, the life of Joandra Kristl-Jakubowski, a 44-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was cut short. On May 27, 2023, in the town of Plymouth, Wisconsin, police were called to her residence following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival at the home, they discovered Joandra with fatal injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, marking a violent end to what authorities would soon classify as a domestic violence-related homicide.
