On August 11, 2023, a tragic murder-suicide occurred in Racine, Wisconsin, claiming the life of 28-year-old Cassandra Sims. Sims, a dedicated daycare owner, was shot and killed by her boyfriend, 30-year-old Deandre Martin, who then took his own life.
