In the quiet hours of a Saturday evening in Oklahoma City, tragedy befell Rocky Gonzalez, a 28-year-old Hispanic male. On January 7, 2023, residents of the Drexel Flats Apartment complex near 8800 S. Drexel were startled by the sound of gunshots, prompting calls to 911. When officers from the Oklahoma City Police Department arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m., they discovered Gonzalez lying in the parking area. He had been shot to death.
