An evening gathering at an event center in Oklahoma City on May 11, 2023, turned tragic, ending in the death of 19-year-old Zion Taylen Debusk. The young Black man was fatally shot after a dispute at the venue, located in the 2600 block of South Meridian Avenue, escalated into gunfire.
