On May 11, 2023, 19-year-old Zion Taylen DeBusk was fatally shot during an altercation at an event center in the 2600 block of South Meridian Avenue in Oklahoma City. Officers arrived at the scene to find DeBusk and another 19-year-old, Keithon Wilson, deceased from gunshot wounds. A 22-year-old woman, identified as Shy-Anne Stallings, was critically injured and transported to a nearby hospital, where she was expected to survive.
