In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Oklahoma City, the life of Terry Jackson, a 34-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short in a burst of violence on a busy interstate. On December 10, 2023, at approximately 10:49 PM, Jackson was driving his vehicle southbound on Interstate 35, near SE 59th Street, when shots were fired from another vehicle in what police have described as a 'car-to-car' shooting. The sudden attack marked the city's 72nd homicide of the year.
