In the Calumet Heights neighborhood of Chicago, a Tuesday evening turned tragic for Kerry Flanagan, a 49-year-old man. On April 14, 2026, while behind the wheel of his car, he was targeted in a burst of gunfire. The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. in the 8800 block of South Paxton Avenue.
