In Oklahoma City, on September 4, 2021, a family dispute escalated into a fatal encounter, claiming the life of 61-year-old Richard Davis, a White male. The incident unfolded at a residence located near SE 44th and Durland Avenue. According to the homeowner, Kathy Westfall, Davis, who was reportedly intoxicated, was engaged in a violent altercation with her daughter. In an effort to de-escalate the situation, Kathy summoned her son, Kyle Westfall, to the home.
