On the evening of May 26, 2024, police were called to a residence in the 1700 block of South Pettee Avenue in Oklahoma City following reports of a shooting. Inside the home, they discovered the body of April Marie Coppock, a 43-year-old Caucasian female. Investigators reported that she appeared to have been shot to death.
