On the evening of November 8, 2022, in Oklahoma City, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of a young mother. Princess Stevenson, an 18-year-old Black female, was standing in the doorway of a home near Southeast 51st Street and East Avenue, holding her four-month-old infant son. She had reportedly gone to the residence to pick someone up. In a sudden burst of violence, a vehicle drove by, and an occupant opened fire on the house.
