Sylvia Serrato, aged 31, was found dead in her Oklahoma City home on October 7, 2016. Officers responded to a call at a residence on S.E. 43rd Street just after 8 p.m., where they discovered Serrato with trauma consistent with homicide. The medical examiner later determined that she had been shot in the head.
