In the summer of 2013, a quiet street in Oklahoma City became the scene of a devastating family tragedy. On August 14, 34-year-old Rebecca Denise Cizek was found deceased inside a home in the 4600 block of Southeast 79th Street. Her life, along with the lives of three other family members, was cut short in a violent act that shook the community.
Rebecca was not alone when she died.
Also discovered in the home were her mother, 57-year-old Sallie Green, her 16-year-old daughter, Catherine Cizek, and her infant nephew, Amario Dominguez. The cause of death for Rebecca was determined to be multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. Her mother, Sallie, and nephew, Amario, also died from gunshot wounds. Catherine, a sophomore at Del City High School, sustained fatal gunshot wounds to her head and back.
The investigation into the quadruple homicide quickly led to a suspect within their own family. Daniel Green, who was 40 years old at the time, was arrested in connection with the killings. He was the son of Sallie Green, the brother of Rebecca Cizek, and the uncle of Catherine Cizek and Amario Dominguez. Reports indicate that the suspect and all the victims resided in the same home where their bodies were discovered. Green was subsequently charged with first-degree murder for the deaths of his four family members.
