On the evening of May 26, 2022, Chava Salvador Ramos, a 40-year-old resident of Riverbank, California, was fatally shot in the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant located on Claribel Road. The incident occurred around 9:45 PM, when deputies from the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a person down in the parking lot.
