In the early morning hours of September 19, 2024, a tragedy unfolded at the Avana Star Lake Apartments in Federal Way, Washington, claiming the life of 25-year-old Enrique Bermudez, a Hispanic male. At approximately 1:01 a.m., Federal Way police officers were dispatched to the apartment complex located at 2211 S. Star Lake Road following reports of a shooting.
