On August 7, 2023, 23-year-old Tevin Njenga Kamau was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the 400 block of South 325th Place in Federal Way, Washington. Federal Way police responded to reports of a shooting around 10:40 a.m. and found Kamau with gunshot wounds to his chest, abdomen, and wrist near the front entrance of an apartment unit.
