On March 22, 2023, at approximately 10:07 p.m., 33-year-old Darren Daniels was fatally shot outside his apartment in the 2600 block of Loop Drive on Cleveland's West Side. According to the Cleveland Division of Police, Daniels was involved in a verbal altercation with 38-year-old Kemar Andre Wallace at his apartment.
