On April 14, 2023, 48-year-old Chad Everett Fitzer of Ashtabula, Ohio, was found deceased in a residence on Harbor Avenue. He had been reported missing since April 5. Authorities discovered his body concealed in a crawl space at the rear of the house, with evidence indicating he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
