Death by Force

Jerome L. "Devon" Noble, a 32-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on January 24, 2019, in Ashtabula, Ohio. Noble was shot and killed by Travis Burdette at the Circle K on West 58th and Main streets following an argument with Noble's cousin inside the store that spilled outside. The incident raised questions about Ohio’s recently changed “Stand Your Ground” law.
