Devonte McCurdy, a 25-year-old male from Ashtabula, OH, tragically passed away on July 25, 2014. The circumstances surrounding his death involved a violent altercation in which he was shot by Jermaine Ruth, 34, of Ashtabula, using an AK-47 assault rifle. The incident led to a series of legal proceedings and investigations.
