Alexis Xavier Colon Mook, a 20-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2014, in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting on Norman Avenue, near St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Mook-Colon was shot multiple times during the incident. His mother, Lydia Aviles, and his younger brother, Benny Alexander Mook-Colon, were also injured in the shooting.
